Custom Saddle (sold 12/12)Click here for more Saddles! This buckaroo style custom saddle has quarter horse bars, flat plate double rigging, on a wade tree with attached bucking rolls. This is one hell for stout saddle you just won't wear out. With a 17 inch seat this saddle is for a big rider like me, the saddle belongs to my neighbor rupe, but I rode it more than he did, I used it to break out a big gelding he had and I actually got to test those bucking rolls. I commited the big sin of telling Rupe and Joan that I did not think that horse had any buck in him, wasn't a minuit later I was real busy staying on. The only marks on this saddle are ones I put these, you can see some marks on the seat where my running W sraped it a bit otherwise this is like a new saddle. This saddle was custom built by Tom Tugaw - Conconully, Wa for Rupe in 1990. Rupe has been retired a while now and has decided he does not need this saddle anymore so take advantage of this opportunity and save yourself some money. I paid over a $1000 more for a plain jane wade tree saddle with out the nice rawhide trim on cantle and stirrups.
